The Doctor's at Groton Wellness are compassionate professionals with extensive education and experience. The Doctor's provide personalized care focused on you. The time spent with you is geared to understand you fully and make appropriate recommendations to help you in your journey to age healthfully. To accomplish this, the visits are in general much longer in duration than those of conventional medical doctor visits.
To maximize the benefit of your initial visit, you are strongly encouraged to attend the Doctor's free seminar as well as complete your Initial Visit Intake paperwork. The upcoming free seminars are listed on our calendar.
The following are the standard rates:
We are a fee-for-service provider which means we would expect payment for services on the day of your visit. We will provide you with appropriate paperwork upon checkout that you can submit to your insurance provider. Your reimbursement varies by carrier and plan. Please note that any reimbursement would come directly to you and not through our office.
Upon completion of your appointment, the front desk team will produce an invoice outlining the costs. You will be expected to pay for services provided at that appointment.
If we receive a check returned for insufficient funds, the following will occur:
Rescheduling Appointments- The office requires that you inform us if you need to reschedule.
Canceling Appointments- We in general will refund your payment upon cancellation unless the practitioner you are seeing has done review, research and/or investigation on your behalf. If the practitioner has done research such as perusal of your medical history or research in response to your intake forms, then the deposit money will need to be kept as remittance for that work.
Appointment confirmation - We will attempt to reach you by email, cell phone text message, or telephone prior to your appointments. We ask that you please reply in some form to let us know you will be making we reserve the right to give your treatment time to another patient.
Missed and Late Appointments- Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you at exclusion of others who may be waiting for an appointment. If you miss your appointment and we do not receive adequate prior notice, we will have no time to fill your space. We therefore reserve the right to charge for missed appointments. If you should arrive late, we may not be able to see you for that appointment. Missed Appointment Fees (2010): Doctor’s Fee $212.00 per hour Other Practitioner's Fee $75.00 per hour
