Gilbert D. Carney, DMD, DC

Dr. Gilbert D. Carney received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from Tufts University in 1977 and has been practicing bioprogressive orthodontics and mercury-free dentistry for more than 23 years. He emphasizes a balance between function and esthetics for his patients' treatment goals, his overarching goal being that of abiding health. Dr. Carney has developed advanced diagnosis and successful, non-invasive treatment of orofacial and TMJ pain and disorders.

To further his understanding of orofacial pain and its effect on the whole body, Dr. Carney obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Palmer College in 1994. This holistic approach to orofacial pain, through the understanding of total body mechanics, has enabled him to develop progressive treatment options that are as gentle as they are effective.
