Why did you become a Psychotherapist?
I have always been fascinated with the mind, its functions and the different levels of consciousness. I also had a need to move beyond my personal realm to help and understand others. The development of consciousness and inner aspects of healing are my key interests, along with transforming approaches to health and healing.
What's you favorite part of your job?
Empowering people to help themselves, slow down, gain awareness and honor the deepest parts of themselves.
What's the best advice you've received?
Pay attention to, be guided by, and honor your innermost thoughts and feelings.
What fascinates you most about the human body?
How the body and the mind communicate and interact with each other as one.
What are your hobbies?
Cooking, art, dancing and swimming.
Where do you go to escape the office?
The rail trail in Groton is very accessible and fun for walking and biking. I am drawn to the coastal areas of Maine and to the desert and rock formations of the West.
