About Pamela: Pamela is a master esthetician in Massachusetts since 1986. She holds a myriad of certificates specializing in techniques that include Advanced Skin Analysis, Pre and Post Operative Skin Care, Level II Reiki, Level III Tai Chi and Ch’i Kung and other advanced esthetic procedures. Also trained in clinical camouflage and black and white photography make-up styles, Pamela spent her early years doing freelance makeup and hair styling in the greater Boston area.

Since the beginning, she has appreciated a holistic approach to skin health and client care. Her journey includes a passion for clinical knowledge. As new information becomes available about our amazing physiology, treatment care, product ingredients and thoughtful philosophies that present compatible options, Pamela enjoys practicing the art of esthetics with an open heart and mind. “Personalized care is the only thing that matters in a treatment session. Being in the present is the only way to respect the needs of each individual at any given time. Together we work towards any common goals you may have.”

Why did you become an Esthetician? Because I had acne as a young adult and was incredibly self-conscious about it, I’ve been drawn toward this field. On one very special day, I met an esthetician who treated me, as well as my condition with kindness and respect. That day set the course I continue to travel to this day. By the way, that was the first day I can say that I felt truly beautiful. I walked down the street feeling especially wonderful! And how great a day it was and I’m happy to say the first of many…..

What’s your favorite part of your job? It’s fulfilling to share in a client’s process. Whether it’s working toward a particular skin care goal or maintaining skin health, sharing that with a client is a privilege for which I am lucky to be a part.

What’s the best advice you’ve received? To see things as they are, not as I think they should be.

What fascinates you about the human body: I’m reminded every day that it already knows what to do. We just need to let it..

What are your hobbies: Singing, Tai Chi, Tennis

Where do you go to escape the office? Anywhere I choose to in my minds’ eye. (Usually to a lovely beach or hiking trail in Hawaii ).

What’s your favorite book? At this very moment, it’s “This Is Your Brain on Music” by Daniel Levitin.

How do you start each day? With gratitude and some deep breaths.
