Since we are coming into our great season of local bountiful harvest of New England I would like to share a great way to handle the large amounts of vegetables that will appear on your kitchens doorstep. Ferment! There is a full serving of health and wealth in fermenting and it is so easy.
The class will explore the “why” of fermentation and how it helps sustainable practices. Some basic knife skills and how this effects your fermentation. Enlarge your scope of what can be fermented and the different results. We will visit excerpts from the GAPS diet and all of its benefits and you will go home with a pint of our famous sauerkraut, a copy of McBride’s GAPS diet and invigorated enthusiasm for getting your fermentation rocking!
