Past Life Regression, Hypnosis, Somatic Breathwork
My story starts with clay. I started making pottery as a freshman in high school and was lucky enough to have a unique and very wise teacher. I was incredibly shy and afflicted with high anxiety. The pottery was a safe haven and offered a feeling of being grounded.
As I have mastered this material I have come to realize how akin it is to human skin. As part of the skin of the earth, it protects, binds, cleanses, absorbs and is possibly where all life started. In addition, clay provides the Spirit a pathway toward a deeper connection with the Earth and All That Is.
By working with clay and teaching others to do the same I woke up to its therapeutic power. I started with the realm of the body and became an Esthetician in order to assist with detoxification and lymph stimulation.
As I mentioned, anxiety plagued me. When I hit my forties I hit a wall emotionally. I lost a brother to diabetes and felt called to dive deeply into healing old wounds and patterns. My seeking led me to a Somatic Breathwork Certification as well as a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology. It has been an awesome journey out of stress and anxiety into empowerment and authenticity. I am blessed to have been taught to walk the talk.
“Since 1972 I have considered Past Life Therapy (PLT) to be the most effective psychotherapy in the world. Even a single session can be miraculous.” ~ Dr. Norman Shealy MD, PhD
While I still teach pottery classes and make pottery I consider the soul, like clay, a ‘material’ to understand, awaken and transmute.
I was born in Plymouth NH, grew up in Mason NH, at Pickity Place, a gift shop, 5-course gourmet herbal restaurant and little red riding hood museum which my parents created. I attended High Mowing Waldorf School (7-12th grades) in Wilton NH and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs NY. Out of college, I worked for potteries in St. Thomas USVI and Colorado and in 1999 started my own pottery business called ‘The Voice Of Clay’. You can purchase my pottery in our Mindful Market at Sacred Tree.
I have 2 children, Zachary and Alexandra.
My favorite part of working at Groton Wellness is the relief people feel when they receive a new perspective, a new piece of information that feels like a piece of the puzzle toward healing.
