Remember to Vote!

The upcoming election is huge but I’m talking about your food dollars. Every time you make a purchase, you are voting for the type of food that is produced. With the feeling of spring in the air, all those great New England farmers are hiring local help to fill this abundant season with fresh produce. Be sure to vote locally and often so that your food dollars can go to a local farm stand and each year bring back your favorites. My favorite is coming up soon-Asparagus! YUM- one of our first New England vegetables so keep your eye out for the beautiful, local produce. Enjoy a fun, healthy trip to a farm and come back with some colorful tasty goodies that help your local farmers and yourself. A win-win for all parties involved.
