Allergies

An allergy is like an immune system “panic attack”. Allergies are something we acquire throughout life, and some people are more susceptible than the others. One must have at least one contact with a substance to become sensitive/ allergic to it.

An allergy is a hyperactive response of the immune system to certain substances (called allergens) that are ‘foreign’ to our bodies. We can develop allergies to everything from food to dust to metals to pollen and much more. Before you are treated in our office, you will be asked to list all allergies you have on your New Patient Questionnaire. Our medical staff may be able to assist you in treating your allergies.
